JOB S U MMARY
FRONTDESK ASSISTANT
Responsible for a positive Club member experience, data management, organizing an office environment and helping communicate Club programs and activities with families.SCHEDULE
Summer:
Mon-Fri 7:15am-10 am; Can be combined with a program specialist position for more hours.After-school:
This position has the possibility to continue into the school year during after-school hoursKEY ROLES & ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service to parents, caregivers and visitors to the Club Answer phones, take messages, return phone calls Assist with parent communication including emails, flyers, texts Check in all visitors to the Club Ensure safety of Club members by managing access and tracking attendance Check Club members and guests in and out following all pick-up and drop-off procedures. Utilize MyClubHub to track attendance, member information, and run reports Assist in membership and program registration Maintain a clean, inviting front desk area Filing Copying Monitor office inventory Maintain lobby/front desk area keeping it clean & free from clutter. Support membership recruitment and retention goals Contact families to check in with youth Support retention efforts with mail campaigns and events. Support recognition efforts of current Club youthADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
May participate in special programs and/or events. Provide support to other staff as neededRELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.External:
Maintain contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents and others to assist in resolving problems.PREFERR ED COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree preferred in related field Minimum of one year experience in working with youth Knowledge of youth development. Ability to deal with the general public. Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment. Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.P HYSI C AL REQ UI R EM E NTS
