Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our motel team. The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, handling reservations and check-ins/check-outs, answering phones, and helping ensure smooth daily operations of the motel.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner Check guests in and out efficiently Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries Process payments and maintain accurate records Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests promptly Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff regarding room status or guest needs Monitor lobby and office areas to maintain cleanliness and organization Handle basic computer and office tasks including email and reservation systems Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and events Assist with light office duties and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn reservation software Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
