About Us We are a fast-paced, high-volume podiatry clinic providing comprehensive foot and ankle care, including wound care, and surgical procedures. Our team is dedicated to delivering efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk Clerk who thrives in a busy medical environment, excels at multitasking, and is eager to grow with our practice. Position Summary The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high patient volume while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor. Key Responsibilities Patient Interaction & Front Office Operations Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately Collect co-pays, balances, and provide receipts Ensure required forms and documentation are completed Insurance & Administrative Duties Perform insurance eligibility and benefit verification Obtain prior authorizations when required Communicate coverage details to patients Enter accurate data into EMR system Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Clinical Support Coordinate patient flow in collaboration with medical staff Assist with scanning, filing, and documentation Support workflow during high-volume clinic days Cross-train in additional administrative tasks as needed Required Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) Minimum 1 year of medical front desk experience preferred Experience with insurance verification required Experience with EMR systems required Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional demeanor and positive attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Pay:
$10.00 - $13.00 per hour
