Job Description

Company Description:
Dental Care of the Future is a progressive, quality based; full service dental practice located in Fraser, MI. We are always growing and striving to create a practice where patients and staff members are happy and healthy so that all can put their best foot forward each day.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops and maintains front desk forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks. Answers telephone and schedules appointments according to policy and patient preference. Receives patients and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries of patients and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department. Performs patient collections, treatment planning, and insurance coding Operates printer, fax, scanner, and other office machines as required. Prepares outgoing mail. Duplicates and distributes front dental desk materials. Composes types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material. Assists public with the use of department facilities. Communicating with dentists, hygienists, and insurance companies All other assigned duties.
Job Qualifications:
  • Accelerated typing skills
  • 2 years' experience in dental field or more
  • Proficient in insurance coding
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as: Patterson Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open dental
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office
