Front Desk Team Member (Part Time) - Large Animal

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join us as a front desk team member at one of the largest multi-doctor food animal practices in Michigan. This individual will handle client and doctor facing duties as well as general office tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills with all professional levels, exceptional multi-tasking skills, a positive attitude, a high attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will also have agricultural business experience. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answering a multi-line phone system in a timely manner Scheduling large animal appointments, entering all applicable information into our software program Invoice slips and billing clients Send out lab work, do lab billing Preparing VFD's, Health Certificates, TB paperwork, and Brucellosis paperwork Clean and prepare instruments, wrap surgical packs, and sterilize packs using autoclave Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day Veterinary and office related tasks Cross-train in our Companion Animal section as well Any other duties as assigned Education/Skills High school diploma (required) Farm/Small Ruminant experience required 1+ year experience as a receptionist - veterinary or agricultural industry a plus Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic Experience with Cornerstone or willingness to learn
