Front End Cashier

Cashier, Sunny Farms Country Store

• Sequim, WA Full-time (35 to 40 hrs/wk) and part-time (8 to 24 hrs/wk) positions available. Responsibilities include :
• Represent Sunny Farms in the community with a positive image.
• Participate enthusiastically with genuine care for the business.
• Memorization skills required for our unique produce codes
• Create a welcoming environment for everyone.
• Field customer questions & comments.
• Process sales transactions by ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change. Yes, the system calculates the change for you!
• You may sometimes be asked to help around the store (ie.

stocking shelves, facing merchandise on the shelves, price checks, cleanup, etc.) Physical requirements. Must be able to make fast, repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work in a fast-paced, and sometimes stressful environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience. Experience preferred but not required. We will teach you how our equipment works and how we bag groceries. High school diploma or GED preferred but is not an absolute requirement.
