Job Description

Job Overview We're on the lookout for an energetic and approachable Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. This role is all about creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and delivering top-notch customer service. As the face of our establishment, you'll oversee daily front-of-house activities, manage staff, and uphold high standards in food service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including guest seating, order taking, and service flow to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. Lead and motivate staff by providing training, coaching, and ongoing development to foster a positive team environment. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to maximize seating capacity and minimize wait times. Oversee cash handling procedures and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accuracy in transactions. Maintain inventory control of front-of-house supplies, including utensils, linens, and beverages, while coordinating with kitchen management for food orders when necessary. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction at all times. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with supervising or team management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking basics, and food industry standards including casual dining, fine dining, catering, or quick service environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS along with cash handling expertise. Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds. Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy shifts while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, food safety protocols, and food production processes. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, support staff development through training & development initiatives, and promote a positive work culture. $49,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
