Job Description
$60,000 - $70,000 per year Overview Provide direct management to the restaurant's front of house to ensure a level of services consistent with guests' demands and company expectations. Train and orient every new hire to deliver the level of customer service required to develop and encourage repeat customers. Represent the interests of the front of house and the company at all times with a goal of maintaining the highest level of teamwork amongst your peers and subordinates. Assist with weekly ordering and monthly inventories. These guidelines are to follow safety standards and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct management of FOH operations and support staff, including bartenders. Manages the operations to ensure quality services to customers and employees. Support in managing the Profit and Loss according to acceptable standards and expectations including attention to reasonable food and labor costs in association with department goals and objectives. Ensure that all staff wear and maintain all uniforms correctly. Ensure that employees are informed of company and departmental policies. Communicate, as directed, with vendors F & B materials, food, supplies and equipment. Maintain professional contacts with other companies and industry professionals regarding F & B issues. Manage staff to anticipate, reduce, or eliminate complaints from customers. Assist, as directed, with the monthly inventory reconciliation of all food and beverages. Alert manager of any concerns regarding the quality, selection and variety of all food and beverages. Assist with preparation and controlling department budget, helping manage overtime hours. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with both Guests and other Team Members. Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required. Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of the unsafe conditions. Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members follow security policies and procedures and reporting all violations. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Perform other job-related duties as directed. Manage a staff of employees in the casino. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Scheduling for all FOH positions and assisting with BOH scheduling as needed. Become knowledgeable with all monetary transaction policies, assist in lower COGS by protecting the company's product and assets. Qualifications and Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other team members of the company. All the above must be able to be communicated in English. Must be able to perform simple mathematics skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Blood borne pathogen training. Serve - Safe Training. TIPS Training. Climb stairs, stoop, bend, stretch, reach, kneel, squat. Pushing and extended periods of standing may also be required for the entire shift (w/ standard breaks). Work in confined areas to obtain food or dry goods. Work on floors that may become slippery during the preparation on movement of food. Work for short periods of time in coolers and freezers that may be below 0 degrees.
