Job Description

Bishop's Post is seeking an energetic and hospitality-driven Front of House Manager to join our leadership team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to take the next step into restaurant management. The FOH Manager is responsible for leading shift operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining smooth service during opening and closing shifts. We are looking for someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, communicates well with both guests and staff, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality. ResponsibilitiesShift Operations Open and close the restaurant according to company standards Lead and direct FOH staff during service Ensure smooth communication between the front and back of house Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the restaurant Monitor service flow and assist staff during busy periods Handle cash-outs, shift reports, and end-of-day procedures Guest Relations Greet and interact with guests throughout service Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly Maintain a visible floor presence during shifts Ensure every guest receives attentive and welcoming hospitality Help create memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat business Team Leadership Support, coach, and motivate servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff Assist with training new employees Uphold company standards, policies, and culture Maintain professionalism and accountability among the team Qualifications Previous restaurant experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive pay Growth opportunities within management Supportive team environment Dining discounts Hands-on leadership development Ideal Candidate This position is perfect for a strong server, bartender, or hospitality professional looking to grow into restaurant management.
