Full/Part Time, includes every other weekend We are seeking a dedicated and personable Dining Room Assistant to support our hospitality team in delivering outstanding dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for customer service and food industry standards, with experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel environments. Duties Assist with setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness before service. Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining an organized dining space throughout service hours. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks and ensure compliance with hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Assist with catering events by preparing serving stations and ensuring smooth flow of service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts and address guest needs promptly. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of serving protocols. Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs. Familiarity with cleaning routines and bussing procedures to maintain hygiene standards. Basic understanding of food handling safety regulations within the food industry. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction. Previous experience in catering, hotel, or hospitality sectors is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
