Job Description

IMMEDIATE OPENING
- For an experienced, responsible and conscientious Front Office Assistant needed for hearing centers in Shreveport and Bossier, Louisiana. Prior outbound calling experience is a must!!! Some sales experience would be a plus! We are Miracle-Ear, the nation's oldest provider of hearing help for the hearing impaired. Our Front Office Assistants are critical to our success as they are the first point of contact for our patients.
Skills necessary are:
PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL and
ARTICULATE
phone voice Comfortable interacting with patients in person and on the phone in a fast paced environment Strong computer skills (word, excel, internet) Experience in computerized scheduling of appointments Multi-tasking and scheduling appointments for several satellite offices with varying schedules Multi-tasking in a busy environment and taking initiative to ensure effortless office function Assisting patients with paperwork completion Money handling experience and some knowledge of financing terms Acting as a support for the hearing specialist Strong communication skills with management as well as other office associates is a MUST Help manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all hearing aids and clinical supplies. Assign, apply, and track assettags for all office equipment and technology. Conduct regular audits of physical inventory to ensure alignment with digial records in our inventory department. Enursing that the general office area and consultation rooms are kept clean and professional at all times. Other office duties as assigned. The selected candidate will be a liaison between our hearing specialists and our patients and as such, they are responsible for assisting the patients and making their visit to our office seamless. Our patients are typically elderly and empathy and patience are important attributes. Experience in a sales environment with a sense of urgency would be a plus!!
