As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide both direct and indirect supervision of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and the Home Health Aide (HHA). Some of your primary responsibilities will include: Evaluating patients' functional statuses (muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication, self-care abilities, etc.) Evaluating home environment for hazards/barriers to more independent living and identifying equipment needs Participating in the development of the plan of care Developing treatment programs and establishing goals for improved function. Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association Two (2) years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
