The Coeur Rochester mine located in Nevada, approximately 25 miles from Lovelock, Nevada, is seeking a Fuel & Lube Technician to join the Mobile Maintenance team. Responsibilities:

The Mobile Maintenance Fuel & Lube Tech is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.

Perform the Oilers duties, daily lubrication tasks on all mobile equipmentPerform regularly scheduled PM services and have knowledge of all current lubricants being usedComplete preventive maintenance inspections of mobile and fixed equipmentMaintain service equipment such as service trucks, fuel pumps, lubricant systems and other equipment needed to perform required dutiesExamine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges Perform troubleshooting and adjustments to all hydraulic and mechanical equipmentCreate work orders and job requests when necessaryMaintain a clean and citation-free mine site environmentPerform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections

Required Qualifications & Skills:

A high school diploma or equivalent A vocational-technical college degree preferred1-3 years experience in equipment maintenance preferredWork in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoorsBasic computer knowledgeAble to lift 65 lbs. on an occasional basisAble to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground dailySelf-directed and able to take leadership roles on many projectsWilling to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies and proceduresRotation of work assignments to maintain training
