Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to financial management, utilizing advanced accounting software and systems to support our operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, ensuring the integrity of financial data and supporting strategic decision-making through precise financial reporting. Responsibilities Manage full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy. Reconcile balance sheets and other financial statements on a monthly basis, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly. Oversee payroll management using systems such as ADP, ensuring timely processing and compliance with tax regulations. Utilize accounting software including QuickBooks, for data entry and financial reporting. Prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards as needed for internal use or external agencies. Assist with budgeting processes, tax filings, and non-profit accounting activities when applicable. Conduct detailed account reconciliation procedures regularly to uphold data integrity across all financial systems. Support ongoing process improvements by implementing best practices in bookkeeping and financial data management. Experience Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role within a corporate or governmental setting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards. Hands-on experience with multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks. Familiarity with payroll management systems like Paychex or ADP is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed account analysis and reconcile complex financial statements accurately. Experience working within SOX compliance frameworks or in environments requiring strict internal controls is preferred. Knowledge of technical accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits is critical. Strong mathematical skills coupled with excellent data entry accuracy (10 key typing). Ability to interpret financial concepts clearly and communicate findings effectively to team members or auditors. Pay:
$67,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
