Full Time Armed Officer - Rio Vista Farms

Our Armed Security Officers play a vital role by actively observing their surroundings, positively engaging with customers and associates, and responding to emergency situations.

Pay:

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour/depending on experience

Anticipated Schedule:

Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00

PM Required Duties:

Perform security patrols of designated areas on footWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsCall police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articlesMonitor entrances and exits and permit authorized persons to enter propertyObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company propertyInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activitiesProvide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner

Essential Job Functions:

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periodsDuties may include sitting and standing or walking in inclement weather conditionsAbility to occasionally lift items not to exceed 20 pounds.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent education preferred One year experience in retail, customer service and/or hospitality required Five years experience in security preferred At least 2 years experience

Armed Security Competencies:

Requirements:
