• Full-time Responsibilities:

• Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in various legal matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Our law firm is seeking an attorney with an interest in immigration law to join us as a full-time associate.

Duties will include client consultations, preparing asylum and removal defense applications, evidence supplements, motions and briefs before EOIR and BIA, and attending court hearings with the goal of being able to handle a client's case from start to finish. Applicants must possess a J.D. degree and be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction). Preference will be given to attorneys who are barred in Virginia, speak Spanish, and/or have one or more years of experience handling merit hearings. However, we welcome less-experienced applicants who are motivated to learn and have a desire to become immigration practitioners. Salary will be competitive and based on experience.
