Full-Time Closing Deli / Meat Counter Associate

Commodities Natural Market is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Closing Deli / Meat Counter Associate beginning in June. Our newly expanded location offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on fresh foods, premium meats and cheeses, local products, and personalized customer care. Position Schedule Full-time (35 hours) Sunday through Thursday 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM Primary Responsibilities Prepare fresh foods and deli items according to store standards Slice, cut, package, and stock meats and cheeses Maintain an organized, attractive, and fully stocked meat counter and reach in case Assist customers with product recommendations and friendly service Operate cash register and assist with customer transactions as needed Perform daily cleaning and closing duties for the meat department Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and maintain quality standards Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy retail environment Qualifications & Requirements Strong reliability and punctuality are essential Excellent work ethic and positive attitude Ability to multitask and stay productive during busy periods Comfortable working in a physically active environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods Previous deli, kitchen, grocery, food service, or meat department experience preferred Willing to train the right candidate with a strong attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable full-time schedule Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a respected local business Employee discounts and experience working with high-quality specialty foods
