Summary We are seeking a passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development for our Pre-K 2 (2-3's) classroom. The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and fun teacher to keep the gets engaged throughout the day and excited to come to school and come back the next day! Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans for the classroom. Able to delegate other tasks to assistant to stay prepared. Example, cleaning tasks, prepping art projects, setting up for the day, etc. Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment for all students. Making sure decorations are all bright and welcoming when you walk in. Keeping and eye to make sure all toys and items in the room are safe for the children to play with. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional growth. Talking with the kids every day and getting to know them. Creating conversations with them about their favorite things and interests. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Keeping them up to date on their child's day on the app and sending updates as needed. Talking with them at pick up and drop off when you see them Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Bachelor's Degree in any related field is preferred CDA credential or willingness to obtain Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
