Full Time Maintenance Position

Position Summary The Golf Course Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the championship-level playing conditions of our Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course within a private country club setting. This role supports daily course operations and ensures our members experience exceptional course conditions at all times. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other designated turf areas Operate and maintain golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, trimmers, and blowers Assist with course setup including tee markers, hole locations, bunker maintenance, and daily detailing Perform irrigation system checks and minor repairs as needed Rake and maintain bunkers to ensure consistency and playability Assist with aerification, topdressing, overseeding, and other agronomic practices Monitor course conditions and report any concerns to the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Follow all safety procedures and club policies Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned Education / Qualifications / Certifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous golf course maintenance or landscaping experience preferred (but not required — we will train the right candidate) Knowledge of turfgrass management practices is a plus Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently Valid driver's license required Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and commitment to excellence Position Physical Requirements Must have the ability to: Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Operate motorized equipment safely Start early mornings, including some weekends and holidays as needed Classification Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Work Location In person - The Club at Porto Cima, a Private Country Club featuring a
