Responsibilities include:

Efficient in taking patient history and recording vitals Administration of Injections and Medication under the direct supervision of a physician Efficient in Microsoft office and EHR software Performs specimen collection and processing duties as needed or assigned Ensures accurate reports including correct data entry Organizes and completes work assigned in a timely manner Demonstrates professional judgement by keeping abreast of new developments and handles problems independently Demonstrates knowledge of job consistent with certification/education Ability to adapt to workload changes within department and between departments Shows initiative Communicates efficiently and courteously when answering telephone Follows established department policies and procedures Observes safety precautions/policies Performs routine daily tasks Displays an ability to handle new assignments or learn new procedures Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned in order to maintain a safe and productive work environment Greet visitors and patients courteously and assists them in their immediate needs Displays a high level of professionalism in personal grooming and behavior Demonstrates overall dependability in attendance, punctuality and in accurately completing duties in a timely manner Demonstrates awareness of patient's needs as a total person (physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, cultural, etc.), consistent with patient's age and development level
