Full Time Peer Recovery Support Specialist, Franklin Township.

CiC for Prevention and Recovery is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) to provide recovery support services at our Franklin Township Hub, while dedicating approximately 25% of their time to the Community Recovery Champion (CRC) initiative. This role combines direct peer-to-peer support with community outreach and partnership-building to strengthen local recovery ecosystems, reduce stigma, and increase access to treatment, recovery, and wellness resources throughout Franklin Township and surrounding communities. Candidates who reside in Franklin Township or have strong ties to the community are strongly preferred. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. About the Community Recovery Champion Program. The Community Recovery Champion program is a peer-led initiative focused on community outreach, stakeholder engagement, education, and collaboration at the municipal level. CRCs build relationships with residents, businesses, schools, faith communities, and public stakeholders to increase awareness of recovery resources, promote harm reduction, and strengthen recovery-friendly communities. Primary Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer recovery support, recovery planning, and resource navigation.
• Lead outreach, engagement, and harm reduction services through the Franklin Township Hub.
• Dedicate approximately 25% of time to CRC responsibilities, including municipal outreach, stakeholder relationship development, and public education.
• Represent CiC through tabling events, trainings, workshops, and public awareness initiatives.
• Promote recovery-friendly community development and expand partnerships throughout Franklin Township.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reporting.
• Participate in supervision, required trainings, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications
• CPRS certification required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
• Personal lived experience in recovery preferred.
• Franklin Township residency or strong community connection preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English or other relevant language) preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Pay:

$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
