FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE NURSE PRACTITIONER (FMNP)

Proudly serving Northwest Louisiana & East Texas this wellness-focused healthcare practice is seeking an experienced, patient-centered Nurse Practitioner with a strong background and passion for Functional Medicine. This role is ideal for a provider who believes in treating the root cause not just symptoms. This family practice is seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment focused on preventative care, hormone optimization, metabolic health, and whole-body wellness. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical judgment with a compassionate bedside manner and a proactive, wellness-oriented mindset. This provider will play a key role in delivering personalized treatment plans that improve long-term patient outcomes, quality of life, and overall well-being. This position offers the opportunity to practice medicine in a modern, forward-thinking clinical setting where patient education, lifestyle medicine, and individualized care are highly valued. Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with active and unrestricted licensure. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a medical office or wellness-focused environment. Certification in Functional Medicine is strongly preferred.

Experience with:

o Hormone Optimization Therapy (HRT/BHRT)o Thyroid managemento Preventative and wellness-focused careo Weight management protocols Peptide therapy and metabolic health preferred Strong understanding of root-cause medicine, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and patient-centered care models. Experience interpreting advanced laboratory diagnostics and developing individualized treatment strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Assessment & Functional Evaluation Personalized Treatment Planning Prescribe and manage therapies including: Hormone replacement therapy, Thyroid optimization, Nutritional supplementation, Lifestyle and wellness protocols, Preventive care strategies Diagnostic Testing & Interpretation Preventative & Lifestyle Medicine Care Coordination Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + quarterly performance incentives 401(k) + Health insurance Paid time off + 8 holidays Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
