Normal, IL Job Summary The Special Education Department seeks a Graduate Research Assistants to support faculty-led research. Graduate research assistants are generally assigned to individual or research teams. This position provides hands-on experience in educational research, data analysis, and scholarly dissemination. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $1,510 for 0.5 FTE appointment Required Qualifications 1. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf 2. Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in Special Education, TCH, Education and Administration Foundation, Speech-Language Pathology, or Social Work. Preferred Qualifications- Strong analytical and research skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills (e.g., deconstructing complex tasks, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines).
- Ability to navigate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Experience and/or training in creating accessible documents.
