Studio Lead Red Seal Craft Studio Roswell, GA Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Spreadsheets Computer skills Full Job Description Job Overview Red Seal Craft Studio is looking for a reliable, organized and outgoing Studio Lead to help keep the studio running smoothly and provide coverage for Open Crafting, birthday parties and private events. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative and is looking for a long-term part-time role. Schedule This position typically averages 8-12 hours per week, although hours vary based on our event schedule. A typical shift is 3 hours. A Friday shift from 12:30-3:30 p.m. is guaranteed each week, and many Saturdays, with additional daytime, evening and weekend shifts scheduled for Open Crafting, birthday parties and private events. Flexible availability is important, particularly on weekends and during our busy holiday season. November and December may include shifts several days per week. What You'll Do Be trained to independently lead birthday parties, Open Crafting and private events Open and close the studio as a keyholder Monitor inventory, identify supplies that need to be reordered, and keep supplies organized Stage materials for upcoming birthday parties and private events Keep the studio clean, tidy and ready for customers Keep bags, boxes and other branded packaging prepared Make reasonable day-to-day decisions when the owner isn't present Work independently on ongoing studio projects during Friday operations time and other downtime The position may grow to include photographing products and preparing Etsy listings, helping build our Amazon storefront, and assisting with new project ideas and studio offerings. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, self-directed, cooperative and comfortable taking responsibility. You should also be outgoing, personable, energetic and confident enough to instruct and guide crafters through projects. You don't need professional crafting experience, but you should be comfortable learning and teaching craft projects. Basic computer and spreadsheet skills are required, along with reliable transportation. This is an active studio environment, and you'll be on your feet and moving around the studio throughout most customer events. Compensation $15/hour + tips. Tips are common on customer-facing shifts and are split among the staff working that shift.
