Gallery Assistant

Step into Hawaiʻi's vibrant art community as a Gallery Assistant with Maui Hands in Paʻia. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team 2-3 days per week at our busy gallery located at 86 Hana Highway. As a key support member for the Store Manager and Sales Associates, you will help create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers while ensuring the gallery operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism Answer phone inquiries and process sales transactions Help maintain a smooth flow of gallery traffic during busy periods Keep the gallery clean and organized Check in new inventory and coordinate shipping orders Learn about Maui Hands artists and their work to confidently share information with customers Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment Interest in art and local artists Basic computer and administrative skills preferred
