Barista/Server/Cashier

Barista/Server Job Overview:

Join our team as a barista/server and become part of our small but dynamic and creative café environment. We're looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, customer service, and crafting a welcoming experience. As a barista, you'll play a key role in helping us create memorable moments for every guest in our casual yet elevated setting.

Duties:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café drinks Greet and interact with customers in a warm, professional manner Offer recommendations, take orders accurately, and ensure timely service Operate our POS system efficiently to process payments and orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, front-of-house, and service areas Follow café standards for drink preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency Work closely with the kitchen and service team to provide smooth and seamless customer experiences Assist in restocking and inventory tasks as needed Dial in espresso machine daily

Requirements:

Minimum two years of experience in a barista, café, or similar customer-facing hospitality role Familiarity with using point-of-sale systems such as SpotOn or Aloha Solid understanding of basic math for drink measurements and transactions Experience working in fast-paced café or restaurant environments Attention to detail and strong time management skills Friendly, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills Passion for coffee and a desire to continuously learn about brewing techniques and café trends Experience with latte art not required but preferred If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love creating delicious drinks, and enjoy connecting with people, we'd love to have you on our team.

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
