Galvanizing Line Operator

Position Summary:

The Galvanizing Line Operator receives instructions from the Plant Manager or Team Leader about daily assignments and expectations. The operator will have been trained on the equipment and processes in the operations area and must follow processes and procedures either posted or directed by management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to perform operational tasks as assigned and follow management instructions. Assures their assignments are completed on time. Responsible for the quality checkpoints at assigned stations. Responsible for the safety and housekeeping of their area. Fills out paperwork according to the manager's instructions. Uses forklifts and overhead hoists to load and carry material. Ability to identify parts to be processed on their line. Thoroughness. M ust follow safety rules and regulations.

Education and Experience Required:

HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution Communication proficiency, both verbal and written. Time management skills.
