Garage Technician Level I - Reefer Fueler

Dot Foods Inc. • Mount Sterling, IL, United States As a Garage Technician you will monitor refrigerated temperatures and fuels as required and other shop activities as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Fueling refrigerated units and transferring fuel from tank to units Reporting of any unit problems to refrigeration technicians Complete required maintenance paperwork including vehicle write ups and work orders Maintain awareness and compliance with all current, local, state, and federal regulations such as those governing the handling and disposal of hazardous waste, i.e., diesel fuel Provides technical support to garage technicians when needed Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience Valid driver license Demonstrated aptitude in PC/laptop computer skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds A high level of quality and attention to detail

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

Previous experience performing semi-trailer repairs Desire to be a strong team player working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid

CDL ROLE SPECIFICS

Schedule:

Part Time Thu-Sat 7:00pm-5:30am Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces
