Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude and clear communication Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and other payments with accuracy and integrity Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain clean and organized merchandising displays Support inventory management through stocking, restocking, and basic inventory checks Assist customers with product questions and promote store specials or promotions when appropriate Maintain cleanliness of the store, including counters, aisles, and checkout areas Answer phone inquiries and provide professional customer support when needed Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations Assist with general retail tasks similar to a convenience or grocery store environment Skills Experience with POS systems preferred for efficient transaction processing Strong basic math skills for cash handling and accurate transactions Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Prior retail or grocery store experience preferred Knowledge of stocking, merchandising, and product organization helpful Professional phone etiquette Ability to work independently and as part of a team
