• 730-1630.

(On days when you are assigned to assist in surgery, the duty hours will be 0700 to 1600).

Clinical Scope:

Set up clean field for specific gastroenterological procedures. Maintain clean and safe work area. Practices economy in the use of all supplies. Be knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of gastroenterology. Treat all staff members with patients and respect. Internal and external customer complaints are monitored.

Requirements:

U.S. citizen Highschool Diploma. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and have a current certificate. 1 year of experience within the last 36 months as a surgical services technician. BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association 1 year within the past 36 months in a medical settlin, prior GI procedures: specimen care abd handling: infection control.
