Job Title:
Check-In Attendant Job Description The check-in attendant oversees site access control by documenting all personnel entering and leaving the industrial construction site while working from an air-conditioned shack. This role ensures accurate records, maintains secure access, and supports smooth daily operations in a busy industrial environment. Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the industrial construction site from an air-conditioned shack. Check in and check out all personnel, contractors, and visitors entering or leaving the site. Accurately document who is coming and going, including times and other required details. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of site access throughout each shift. Verify that individuals entering the site have appropriate authorization. Communicate clearly and professionally with workers, supervisors, and visitors regarding access procedures. Follow established site security and access control protocols at all times. Report any irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, or safety concerns to the appropriate site contacts. Support overall site operations by ensuring efficient and orderly flow of personnel. Work consistently during scheduled hours and be available for additional hours as required by project needs. Essential Skills Proven ability to perform accurate documentation and record-keeping. Experience with check-in and access control processes in an industrial environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure precise and complete access records. Ability to work reliably in an industrial construction setting. Clear verbal communication skills to interact with personnel and visitors. Ability to follow established procedures and security protocols consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in an industrial construction environment. Familiarity with site safety practices and basic security principles. Willingness to complete a Hazwoper 40-hour course, which will be provided. Ability to work 10-hour days and occasional Saturdays as project needs require. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in an industrial construction environment, combining time in an air-conditioned shack with exposure to an active job site. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and should be comfortable in a fast-paced, industrial setting. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some Saturdays and additional hours as required to support project demands. Dress should be appropriate for an industrial construction site and varying weather conditions, following all required safety and protective equipment guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Heidelberg, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
