Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity where you'll provide vital sports medicine support to school athletic programs, working closely with student athletes and coaching staff. This full-time, onsite position spans from now through the end of December 2026, offering up to 40 hours per week in an educational environment committed to student well-being and achievement. Your role will involve supporting athletic teams throughout their seasons, handling injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and helping students recover safely. You'll collaborate directly with teams during practices, games, and, when teams advance to state competitions, you'll accompany them to ensure comprehensive care.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Athletic Training or a closely related field (required) Board Certification in Athletic Training (essential) Experience with school-aged athletes or working in K-12 educational settings Familiarity with Department of Health protocols and sport-specific injury care Ability to act quickly, make sound decisions, and remain calm under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students, coaches, and educational staff Flexibility for occasional travel, especially when teams attend state-level competitions Ability to complete the BIE adjudication process and pass pre-employment screenings
Primary Responsibilities:
