General Laborer

Job Summary Chegar Rack & Metal Manufacturing Co. is seeking a dependable and motivated General Laborer for our Coating Department. This position assists with the preparation, coating, handling, and finishing of metal plating racks and fabricated components used in the metal finishing industry. This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a fast-paced shop environment. Candidates should be willing to learn, work safely, follow instructions, and contribute as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare metal racks and fabricated parts for coating processes Hang, move, inspect, and package materials and finished products Assist with plastisol coating operations and related production tasks Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Assist other departments as needed Qualifications Manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and good attendance required Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company Pay & Benefits Pay range is based on prior experience, work history, skill level, and willingness to learn the position Employees demonstrating good attendance, performance, and reliability may be eligible for a pay increase after a 90-day evaluation period Opportunities for advancement and skill development Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Day shift Chegar Rack & Metal Manufacturing Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
