OVERVIEW

• The general laborer is a reliable, steady, and on-site presence who focuses on the consistency that contributes to company success. This position is seasonal (approximately April
• October), hourly, full-time, in the field daily from Mon-Fri and some Saturdays, and responsible for partnering with the equipment operator/job supervisor and manager on a daily basis, to ensure work projects are completed in a timely and quality manner.

High energy and reliability are key attributes of this role and contribute to the tone of excellence and high expectations for the entire Pavement Resources team.

PRIMARY TASKS

• This position is responsible for the daily activities of supporting a small business toward daily success, including:
• Contributing to work project quality for asphalt and concrete repairs: hot-mix patching, crack sealing, spray injections, and storm drain repairs.
• Mechanical aptitude: help in shop with repairing and maintaining equipment, keeping shop clean.
• Blowing out cracks, operating cracksealing machine, raking and shoveling hot mix asphalt, operating asphalt roller, operating Spray Inject asphalt patching machine.
• Time management: ability to manage project schedule and tasks each work week.

REQUIREMENTS

• The following experience and background information is mandatory to be successful in this role:
• Mechanical ability.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Work history or resume with employment references.
• Good driving record.
• Must have own vehicle, clean and in good, drivable condition.
• No smoking policy-in vehicles and shop.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• The following experience is preferred and can contribute to success in this role:
• Experience with any of the following: o Asphalt repair and maintenance o Asphalt/Concrete/Construction/Landscaping or similar experience o Operating skid loaders, wheel loader, dump truck, asphalt patching machine o Snow removal
