Job Description

We're currently seeking a General Laborer I to join our growing team of diverse manufacturing professionals in St. Clair, Pennsylvania . This position will be supporting our first shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads goods from vehicles such as trucks or rail cars Safely and efficiently operates the forklift, and notes all preventative maintenance and notification of repairs needed Moves goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility Stacks goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions Checks loads are secure Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility Performs general housekeeping, organization/maintenance projects, and cleanup of the facility and property Follows assembly instructions Mindful of all safety and quality protocol Operates cranes and jib cranes Assists other employees, works collaboratively to accomplish goals Takes initiative by providing input and information to resolve assembly issues Identifies delays or barriers such as material shortages or quality issues High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follows instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Executes assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to obtain forklift certification High school diploma or equivalent (HiSET, TASC, GED, etc.) Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck or other loading equipment Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Having a good sense of balance Having good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust Ability to work on-site in St.
Clair, Pennsylvania Preferred Qualifications:
