ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Loading/unloading of materials Steel preparation Assists in the preparation of materials to be shipped to construction sites Conveys materials and items from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code Forklift operation Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
