Seasonal Dock Hand & Retail Associate (21+)

About the Job Get out of the office and onto the water! We are looking for a high-energy, reliable individual to join our team for the 2026 summer season. You will be the face of our bait and tackle store and our boat rental operation on Clearwater Lake. This is a fast-paced, active role that requires someone who enjoys staying busy and working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities Boat Rentals & Marina Services:

Fleet Management:

Prepare rental boats daily (cleaning, fueling, oil checks).

Guest Safety:

Provide safety briefings and clear operating instructions to boat renters.

Inspections:

Conduct thorough "check-in/check-out" inspections to identify damage and process charges.

Dock Work:

Assist marina guests with docking and refueling; swap/fill propane tanks for campers.

Groundskeeping:

Raking shoreline weeds and keeping the docks/marina clean and clear.

Retail Operations:

Sales:

Accurate cash handling and POS operation.

Compliance:

Strictly verify IDs for all age-restricted sales, including Tobacco, THC products, and Lottery.

Bait Care:

Must be comfortable handling and selling live bait (minnows, leeches, and worms).

Schedule Requirements Shifts:

Hours vary across the week (6 AM - 9 PM range).

Availability:

Must be willing to work weekends and at least one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day).

Qualifications Age Requirement:

Must be 21+ years of age (Required for the sale of THC and Tobacco products per 2026 regulations).

Physical Strength:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (gas cans, propane tanks) and safely navigate docks/boats in all weather conditions.

Mindset:

A true "self-starter" who takes initiative during downtime and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty.
