Job Description

Experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster
  • Long Island, NY Well-established Third-Party Administrator (TPA) with over 60 years of continuous operation is seeking a skilled and motivated Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling casualty claims, with the ability to independently manage a full caseload from inception through resolution. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of claims handling practices. This position is in-office initially, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule following successful training and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate, evaluate, and manage casualty claims (including liability and bodily injury) Determine liability exposure Negotiate settlements within authority limits Coordinate / communicate with attorneys and insureds Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of casualty claims adjusting experience Strong knowledge of claims handling procedures and litigation management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
