The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant management. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting. Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant performance. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members. Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Experience in inventory control, cash handling, and budgeting practices. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, or quick service & fast food environments is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues promptly. Background in hospitality management or kitchen management is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
