Full Job Description A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a strategic and growth-focused General Manager to lead overall operations and drive business expansion. This role is part of a planned leadership transition, as the current leader prepares for retirement in July. The organization is looking for a proven leader—ideally at the GM or VP level—who has successfully scaled manufacturing operations, built high-performing teams, and driven revenue growth. This position oversees all aspects of the business, including operations, sales strategy, financial performance, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on expanding market presence and developing new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all departments Drive sales growth initiatives and develop new revenue opportunities Establish budgets and ensure departments operate within financial targets Set company-wide goals and monitor departmental performance Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of staff Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention Monitor inventory, cash flow, and overall financial health of the business Guide business development efforts and support lead generation strategies
Qualifications:
5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Prior experience as a General Manager, VP, or senior operations leader Demonstrated success growing a company or business unit Strong business acumen across operations, finance, and sales Bachelor's degree preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to lead teams, make high-level decisions, and operate independently
