Who We Are This Cannabis Dispensary is a notable participant in California's cannabis retail and lounge industry. We aim to enhance the cannabis experience by combining quality design with unique products. Our operations consist of cannabis retail and lounge locations throughout Northern and Southern California, with intentions to expand further in 2026-2027. Position Summary The General Manager is like the go-to person for the sales team, working right alongside them to boost the store's sales, profits, and keep everything running smoothly. They're the ones who kick things off with top-notch customer service and really set the tone for the team. Plus, they manage everything from supervising the store and the team to diving into sales data to make smart decisions and hit those goals. With their charm and motivation, the General Manager trains and inspires everyone, guiding the store toward success! Duties and Responsibilities Strategic development of business initiatives in partnership with Corporate Leaders, focused on enhancing customer retention and acquiring new clientele. Ensure that all associates and leadership fulfill the training program requirements and cultivate comprehensive product knowledge across all product categories. Effectively communicate and ensure the achievement of store productivity targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Recruit, train, and motivate a proficient sales team that accurately represents and conveys our brand message to our customers. Oversee and manage the sales environment, delivering ongoing coaching on the sales training process to ensure optimal customer service and maximize sales performance. Ensure that store merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards are implemented effectively in accordance with established guidelines, and that visual standards are consistently maintained. Report customer feedback and product-related issues or requirements to Corporate Leadership to enhance customer service and drive sales growth. Implement targeted development programs for all store management and supervisors by clearly defining responsibilities and providing comprehensive training, coupled with regular follow-up and constructive feedback. Foster and cultivate positive relationships within the community to enhance business generation, increase brand awareness, and develop a pool of qualified candidates for key open positions. Oversee and execute store opening and closing procedures, which encompass counting register funds, processing bank deposits, conducting cash drops, managing register operations, and ensuring the security of the facility. Conduct regular store meetings with District Manager to ensure accurate and consistent communication with employees. Oversee loss prevention policies and procedure to be 100% compliant. Works with Districtg Manager on performance coaching, documentation and terminations Maintains financial records: drops, invoices, expenses, payroll. Supervise operational audits and responsibilities to guarantee the efficient and accurate processing of all transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving activities, thereby maintaining the integrity of inventory management. Operates within all assigned budget parameters, guidelines and goals Works directly with BOH Manager to ensure best practices are being followed Timesheet and payroll management for all store departments. Oversee the payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure optimal sales floor coverage by preparing store schedules two weeks in advance and making adjustments as required to align with business needs. Manages Repairs and Maintenance needs of store location. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by District Manager or Corporate Leadership. Three (3) or more years of experience as a store or general manager. Basic knowledge of state and local compliance laws preferred.
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
Must be 21 or older. English speaking or bilingual. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to lead, prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Well versed in communicating effectively and concisely. Dependable. Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking for long periods of time. Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 30 lbs. of bulk goods. Exposure to cleaning agents.
