Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our vibrant French American Bistro. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage day-to-day activities to deliver a memorable dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to shape the success of a bustling restaurant environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Oversee daily operations including food preparation, kitchen management, and front-of-house activities to ensure smooth workflow. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Supervise staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to foster a skilled and motivated team. Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, POS system operation, and reconciliation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor financial performance through budgeting and cost control measures to meet business goals. Foster a positive hospitality environment that emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and exceptional customer experiences. Skills Extensive experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service operations. Proven supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Deep knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food handling safety protocols. Proficiency with POS systems ; cash handling expertise required. Strong skills in inventory control, food management, and kitchen management practices. Experience in managing staff training & development programs within the hospitality industry. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, interviewing skills, and shift supervision. Familiarity with budgeting processes, food safety standards, and hospitality regulations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality service delivery.
