Deck Remodelers is a nationally recognized, award-winning design-build firm specializing in the creation of ultra-high-end, resort-style outdoor living environments. We don't just build decks; we engineer luxury lifestyle spaces for affluent homeowners. We are officially expanding into the DC Metro market and are seeking a high-caliber General Manager to spearhead this region. This is an entrepreneurial leadership role for a construction veteran who wants the autonomy of running a business unit with the backing of a powerhouse national brand. You will be the primary authority on the ground, establishing our presence, building an elite execution team, and driving the region toward our 2026 growth milestones. What You Will Be Doing You will hold total accountability for the success of the DC Metro region, balancing high-level strategy with hands-on field execution:
Market Expansion & Revenue Growth:
Drive regional revenue by converting high-quality inbound leads into multimillion-dollar projects. Cultivate strategic partnerships with local architects, designers, and affluent homeowners.
Construction Operations Mastery:
Manage the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction to final walkthrough. Ensure every build exceeds our "Elite" standards while remaining on schedule and within budget.
Strategic Subcontractor Procurement:
Recruit, vet, and manage a scalable network of elite trade partners. This is a critical function; you will be responsible for building the craftsmanship engine that powers the region.
High-End Client Relations:
Serve as the executive point of contact for our clients. You will facilitate a "white-glove" experience, managing expectations and delivering the luxury service our brand is known for.
Team Architecture:
As the region scales, you will hire, develop, and lead a high-performance team. You will foster a culture of accountability, precision, and grit.
P&L & Financial Oversight:
Direct all job costing, regional budgeting, and margin management. You will be responsible for the financial health and forecasting of the market. What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
Industry Tenure:
10+ years of comprehensive construction experience, specifically in the residential sector.
Luxury Background:
Proven expertise in high-end or luxury residential builds where the margin for error is zero.
Operational Leadership:
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, diverse teams, and extensive subcontractor networks.
Business Acumen:
Deep understanding of job costing, profit margins, production scheduling, and construction logistics.
Entrepreneurial Track Record:
Experience building or significantly growing a construction business, division, or regional office.
Sourcing Mastery:
Exceptional skills in subcontractor procurement and trade partner management.
Preferred Background:
Senior leadership experience within a multimillion-dollar construction firm. Expertise in Design-Build or specialty high-end exterior construction. History of direct, successful engagement with sophisticated, high-net-worth clients.
