Role Description The General Manager, Fire Services is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurnee, IL (Chicago Suburbs). The role involves managing and overseeing day-to-day fire service operations, staff leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities include developing operational strategies, achieving financial performance metrics, building strong relationships with clients and team members, and ensuring a high level of service delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of fire protection services, team management, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Leadership and management skills, including team building and staff development. Experience in fire protection services, operations management, and compliance with NFPA Standards. Strong operational and strategy development skills, with a focus on achieving business objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management and internal team collaboration. Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail. Familiarity with financial management, including achieving performance metrics. Adaptability to work on-site and commitment to fostering a safe and efficient workplace. Experience in service delivery industries or fire safety compliance is a plus.
