Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our new restaurant, bar, and taproom with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient management of staff, and seamless execution of daily activities. Your leadership will drive the team to deliver high-quality food and service while maintaining operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage all restaurant operations, analyzing and perfecting all touch points of the guest experience, including guest ambassador interactions, food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures to maintain quality and compliance with health regulations. Program and Manage Toast POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train, develop, schedule and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations. Coordinate shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels while optimizing productivity during peak hours. Monitor financial performance by budgeting, controlling costs, and analyzing sales data to meet business goals. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes excellent customer service, a hospitality first approach, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Proven management experience in casual and/or elevated full service dining environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, food production, and culinary techniques. Craft beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge is a must! Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train & develop team members effectively across various roles including guest ambassador, serving, beer and bartending work, bussing, food running, catering, and kitchen cohesion. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, cost analysis, and food management to maximize profitability. Demonstrated ability to work in tandem with BOH leadership to create a team atmosphere A proven eye for details is required. Must see all aspects of the operation from the guest perspective and effectively lead the staff in setting the table for elevated guest experiences. Exceptional Hospitality skills coupled with strong communication abilities; capable of interviewing prospective staff members.
