General Production Operator Pay:

$19-$21/hour Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Production Operator with the ability to operate machinery. The role involves assembly tasks and cross-training in multiple areas based on needs, including drill presses, shear presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, and saws. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading machines, monitoring machine operations to ensure product quality, maintaining clean work areas, and performing housekeeping duties. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential, as well as operating overhead cranes to lift and move products. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Proficiency in reading a tape measure Strong mechanical aptitude Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with punch presses Metal fabrication experience Familiarity with drill presses, benders, and saws Knowledge of quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnsburg, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.25/hr.
