• Job Description
• This role involves working as part of a three-person production crew, rotating through key positions that handle raw material receiving, machine operation, and finished product handling. You will operate forklifts, support continuous production processes, and ensure products move efficiently from arrival to storage or shipment across multiple shifts.
• Responsibilities
• + Receive incoming raw materials, unload deliveries, and organize materials within the plant to ensure efficient production flow.

+ Operate as the shift operator responsible for running a three-person crew and coordinating tasks throughout the shift. + Create and monitor blend mixtures, using production monitors and controls to ensure product levels and mixtures meet specifications. + Monitor machinery during operation, identify issues, and communicate promptly with team members to maintain consistent production. + Work at the end of the production line handling finished product, including loading trucks or placing product into designated warehouse storage areas. + Operate a forklift throughout the shift to move raw materials, in-process product, and finished goods safely and efficiently. + Perform general labor tasks such as inspection, packaging, loading, and shipping and receiving activities as needed. + Inspect products for quality, ensuring that packaging, labeling, and handling meet internal standards. + Communicate clearly and consistently with the two other crew members on your shift to coordinate activities and maintain a safe, productive workflow. + Follow all safety procedures in a dusty, loud production environment, including safe forklift operation and safe handling of materials. + Support overtime and additional shift coverage as needed to meet production demands, including working up to six days per week.

• Essential Skills
• + Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the workday.

+ Experience with machine operation or willingness to learn how to operate production machinery and monitoring systems. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly during the shift. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and positively with a small team of three people per shift. + Comfort working in a production, general labor, and warehouse environment that involves inspection, packaging, loading, and shipping and receiving tasks. + Reliability and willingness to work overtime, including up to six days per week when required. + Personable and team-oriented approach, contributing to a collaborative and supportive shift environment.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Previous experience in production, general labor, or warehouse roles. + Background in inspection, packaging, or shipping and receiving operations. + Comfort working around dusty, dirty, and loud machinery environments. + Flexibility to work any of the three shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) as needed.

• Work Environment
• This is a shift-based production environment with three primary schedules: 1st shift from 7:00 a.

m. to 3:00 p.m., 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Overtime is expected and employees may work up to six days per week. The facility is a dusty, dirty production area that can be loud when machinery is running. You will be on and off a forklift throughout the day, working in and around active equipment and production lines. Appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial, dusty, and loud environment is required, with a focus on safety and practicality.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winona, MN.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
