Generator Technician - Experienced Mechanic

Are you an experience Generator Mechanic looking to make a change? Premier focuses their efforts on residential and light commercial generators. Primarily, our fleet is comprised of gaseous models, with some diesel machines, as well. A fully stocked install truck/van will be provided by Premier. The expectation is for the tech to maintain that vehicle and keep it stocked for future service use. In this role, you will be responsible for: Completing service work in a timely manner Execute work orders with minimal direction Performing routine maintenance on an already established generator fleet Performing repairs on machines Assisting other technicians, both remotely and on-site Assist in inventory control Maintain a professional personal appearance Rotational On-Call Availability Serving as a teacher and assisting in the growth of your peers Communicating end of day updates to our inside team Using good judgement and representing the company in a constructive manner Creating a positive work environment for all members of the team The right candidate will posses the following skills and attributes: Air-Cooled and Liquid-Cooled machine training Strong understanding of basic engine and alternator mechanics Ability to communicate professionally with customers Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution Current driver's license and in good standing Professional set of hand tools The physical ability to perform this position; i.e.: working from a ladder; ability to lift 50lbs; standing on one's feet for long hours Prior certifications with Kohler, Generac and Briggs are a plus!
