Salary:

$150,000 - $210,000 per year A bit about us: This company is growing a new practice group that will focus on operations outside of Manhattan in Northern New Jersey as well as Connecticut. This role is a hybrid engineer / doer-seller position where you will have unlimited career growth to build out this practice with unlimited support of an established firm in the area with a great reputation. Job Details Responsibilities Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments, including soil, concrete, and land inspections and testing. Design and implement geotechnical and foundation systems. Provide technical support for land development projects, including grading, site development, and erosion control. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. Prepare and review technical reports and proposals. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and regulations. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress. Assist with land surveying and permitting processes as required. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on geotechnical engineering. Demonstrated experience with inspection and testing of soil, concrete, and land. Solid understanding of land development processes, including grading, site development, and erosion control.
