Girls' Head Basketball Coach Position Summary:

The Head Girls' Basketball Coach is responsible for leading and managing the high school girls' basketball program in accordance with PIAA regulations, school district policies, and league standards. The coach will foster athletic skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth in student-athletes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct effective practices and game strategies Develop and supervise student-athletes both athletically and academically Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and respect on and off the field Ensure compliance with all PIAA, league, and school district rules Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration Supervise assistant coaches and program activities Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety standards

Qualifications:

Prior coaching and/or playing experience preferred Knowledge of soccer fundamentals and PIAA rules Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to serve as a positive role model for student-athletes All required PIAA and district clearances and certifications Interested and qualified people should submit a letter of interest, resume and copies of clearances to the Human Resources Department, Administration Office, 1201 Shadow Oaks Lane, Slatington, PA 18080 or electronically to hr@nlsd.org Only applicants who submit materials through HR will be considered.
